The test version of the browser will be launched on September 15, only for PC s running Windows Vista and Windows 7 .
Microsoft announced last Thursday (13/8) the official release date of the public beta of Internet Explorer 9 (IE9). Users will be able to test the new browser from September 15 this year.
According to the company, the version will be exclusive for users of Windows 7 and its predecessor, Vista. Currently, about 68% of PCs with a Microsoft operating system installed still use Windows XP , released in 2001.
The announcement yesterday confirmed the comment made in July by Kevin Turner, COO of the company, IE9 beta come to the public in September. To date, however, no statement from the manufacturer had the date confirmed or denied the veracity of the statement.
In March, Microsoft announced that it was already working on the new browser, and has since released four previous, aimed at developers. The last was published on August 5, when the company has indicated that it would be the last beta version before.
So far, not been announced the release date of the final version of the application, although many market experts speculate about the month of April 2011, to coincide with MIX, an annual event of the manufacturer.
However it is also possible that the release occurs only in the second half of next year as the final version of IE8 was released a year after the beta. If kept pace probably will not reach the final edition to the public until September 2011.
