Dear Sir, very good night,
I have installed on my computer Windows Vista Home Premium. I have been trying to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2, but without any success, despite having tried to help from the Service Support local Microsoft through various exchanges of correspondence so far not produced any results.
I just saw your article, which I found interesting and potentially'm tempted to try this solution.
However, before proceeding, I have some doubt about the correct procedure ie, when indicated in the pre-requisites, "to ensure that your computer is running Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 1." But the basic information the computer only indicate the presence of Service Pack 1, making no mention of Windows Server 2008. So my question is: So, I must conclude that WS2008 is not, surely, and so installed, continue with this operation? Or is there some other way to check?
Staying make him grateful for any indication to that effect
Best regards
Manuel Ferreira, Porto
Manuel goodnight
To verify that the Windows Server 2008 SP1 was installed on your computer, click Start and type winver in Start Search and then press Enter.
In the About Windows dialog box was displayed with a banner on top of Windows Server 2008 and below in text mode will contain the text Version 6.0 (Build 6001: Service Pack 1).
Got it?
