Criminals insert images directly into the infected engine search engine and use the PDF reader update to induce users to click on them. The image search engine Google is the new target for hackers who want to insert malicious code on users' machines via the Internet outside.
The problem first surfaced last year, when images were hyped as spam sent to users that clicking on the URL, was tricked into downloading a codec that would allow him to access the file. Now with the new interface for Google Image search engine, the method was perfected. This is because the criminals are entering the infected files directly in the search engine.
And to invade the PC's internet with this technique, the file in question asks the user to update your PDF reader - Adobe usually - through a link provided to view the picture or download any antivirus free, it reveals a malware, leaving the computer exposed.
According to security experts, the most striking is the degree of specialization of crackers, since this technique with the Google Image search engine can be used in different ways, depending on the operating system and browser used.
