Mozilla suspends operations online store for security breach

Failure was located in the tool company Gateway CD I, which provides services to complete their shopping in the Mozilla store.

The developer Mozilla has suspended the activities of its online store on the evening of Tuesday (5/8) after finding that the company hired to run the operations of checkout suffered a security breach.

It is unclear whether the supplier, GatewayCDI, notified Mozilla or whether the company discovered the bug otherwise.

Three of the critical bugs were connected with the rendering and JavaScript engines, common targets for correction of Mozilla.

A patched vulnerability in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer English) was reported to Mozilla by three researchers from Microsoft and fourth at Purdue University.
