According to a study by StatCounter, Microsoft Web site was responsible for 9.41% of all searches made in the U.S. in July.
Bing, search engine launched by Microsoft in June this year, continues to gain market share. According to StatCounter, a company that measures the hearing site, the search engine of Microsoft gained share of 1.24 percentage point and now represents 9.41% of all searches made in the U.S. in July.

This time, however, Bing stole share from Google - not Yahoo, as it did in its debut on the web. According to StatCounter, Google lost a percentage point last month to participate.
According to StatCounter, Yahoo and Bing together hold over 20% market share of U.S. searches. Figures from comScore, another company that measures Web audiences, differ: the second company claims that the two sites were added in June, 29% of U.S. search market.
Either, way the two studies point to a growing trend for Bing, who will soon be adopted as the official search engine Yahoo.
